Steve Ulrich – Biographical Sketch

[Introduction]

Hello, and welcome to my Weblog (Blog) – “Your Discovery Blog.”  I would like to use this page to introduce myself, give you some kind of biographical sketch, and tell you about my work.  My contact information is at the bottom of the page.

My name is Steve Ulrich.  I call myself “The Business Startup Resource Mentor” to promote myself and my business.  I live in Columbus, Ohio, transplanted from New York City.  I have lived here for 31 years although the stereotypical behaviors that people identify with New York, show up in me still after all these years.   The main attribute that lingers on is the “accent,” the one I never knew I had until I moved away from New York.  Go figure.

[Your Discovery Coaching - My Own Business]

Early this year, 2007, I left the workplace I where I had been employed for almost 18 years, to develop my own coaching practice.  Training from the Coach Training Alliance has prepared me well for the “co-creative” relationship that develops between coach and client.  Additonal coursework from Landmark Education and the iMap Live Seminar given by James Roche have helped me understand the value clients receive by working with me and what unique Core Gifts I bring to my practice that are the foundation for who I am.  Partnering with Inscape Publishing has given me the ability to leverage my coaching practice with superior assessment tools such as DiSC Classic, that I can use, train with, and resell to provide new awareness to my clients and their teams.

My focus with my coaching practice is to work entrepreneurs who are in the “startup” phase of their business.  This ranges from the people who have not yet made the leap to their own business all the way to the people who have been in business for a while but are still considered startup.  This might include Network Marketers (Multi-Level Marketers), product or service professionals, as well as those people just looking for a niche or way to break out and do their own flavor of business.   I am here to assist my clients in getting their questions answered, gaining clarity, aligning their actions with their purpose, breaking down barriers and roadblocks they may be challenged with and most of all finding the way to get their dreams and goals reached and have successful businesses.  My slogan is: ”Building Your Business One Resource at a Time.”
